I had the pleasure of staying twice at the Hilton Garden Inn Mumbai International Airport, a brand-new property that had been open just 15 days when I first checked in. The experience was excellent, and I can confidently recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to or through Mumbai.

Unbeatable Location for Travelers
One of the standout features is its location, just 10 minutes from Mumbai’s international airport, making it incredibly convenient for layovers or business travelers. Despite its proximity to the airport, the hotel offers a quiet and secure environment, with visible security presence at all times.
Modern, Spacious, and Comfortable Rooms
The rooms are big, spotless, and thoughtfully designed. Modern interiors and a focus on comfort are immediately noticeable. Individual aircon and do not disturb/clean the room buttons.
The bed is very comfortable, and the room includes a flat-screen TV, a generous minibar, a personal safe, and a fridge. There’s also a kettle with free tea and coffee, an iron and ironing board, slippers, a hairdryer, and, my personal favorite, plenty of wall sockets, including USB-A and USB-C ports, making device charging incredibly convenient.
Each day, I received six complimentary bottles of water, which is more generous than most hotels and much appreciated in Mumbai’s climate.
The view didn’t blow me away, but it wasn’t bad either, and I wasn’t exactly there to stare out the window all day.
Bathroom
While the bathroom isn’t particularly large, it is modern, clean, and features a spacious walk-in shower with good water pressure and lots of free amenities. It’s well-equipped and continues the same high standards of cleanliness and functionality as the rest of the room.
Breakfast
One highlight of the stay was the breakfast buffet, which is very generous. There’s a large selection of Indian dishes, but also Western options including pastries, fresh fruits, juices, and a live egg station where you can order any style you prefer. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, absolutely nothing to complain about.
Dining – 24/7 Restaurant
One huge plus: the restaurant is open 24/7. That’s rare and extremely helpful for late-night arrivals or early departures.
Facilities
There is a fitness center and an outdoor swimming pool but I didn’t have the time and opportunity to to visit them.
Service and Staff
The reception is open 24/7, and the staff are consistently professional, friendly, and eager to assist. Whether it’s check-in at odd hours or help with logistics, they’re always there to make your stay easier.
The hotel also feels very secure, with security guards stationed at the entrance who scan all bags. You feel safe and well taken care of at all times.
From check-in to room service and housekeeping, everyone I interacted with was focused on making my stay as smooth and pleasant as possible.
Overall Experience
I’ve now stayed here twice, and both experiences have been consistently good. It’s clear that the team is working hard to establish high standards from day one. I would not hesitate to stay here again, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
