The SRIRACHA Sea Breeze Hotel is a coastal retreat located approximately 120 km southeast of Bangkok, about a 1.5-hour drive.
I was searching for a small, budget-friendly hotel near Koh Loi Pier and found this place on Booking.com. Despite the lack of reviews, I decided to give it a try, and I’m glad I did. My experience exceeded expectations, and I want to share it in this review.

Si Racha: More Than Just a Coastal Town
Si Racha, a town in Chonburi province on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand, isn’t famous for its beaches. While some exist, they are unfortunately quite polluted, with noticeable trash on the sand and in the water.
However, Si Racha has plenty of attractions worth exploring:
- Khao Kheow Open Zoo: A spacious and well-maintained wildlife park.
- J Park Nihon Mura: A charming Japanese-themed shopping and dining area.
- Space Inspirium: A fascinating space and science museum.
- Khao Phra Monastery: A serene temple with scenic views.
- TUKCOM Shopping Plaza: A hub for electronics, fashion, and local goods.
Two must-visit spots are Koh Loi and Koh Si Chang, which I will describe later in the review along with a video showcasing them.

Getting There
Si Racha isn’t the easiest place to reach, but here are the best options:
- By Car: Follow signs for “KARIN” before reaching Central Si Racha Shopping Mall. The hotel, also known as Karin Hotel & Service Apartment, offers free private parking.
- By Bus: Buses from Suvarnabhumi Airport or Ekamai Bus Station in Bangkok cost around 120 THB per person. The journey takes about 1.5 hours, and the bus stops in front of Central Si Racha Shopping Mall. From there, exit through the back parking area and walk 300 meters to the hotel’s rear entrance.

Location: Convenient & Practical
I found the location excellent. The hotel is less than 300 meters (a 5-minute walk) behind Central Si Racha Shopping Mall, where you’ll find everything you need, clothing, beauty products, gadgets, IT accessories, and an indoor food market.
For street food lovers, vendors are located between the mall and the hotel, but I highly recommend the Koh Loi Street Food Evening Market, which offers a better variety and atmosphere.
If you need it, the Samitivej Sriracha Hospital is less than 100 meters away.

Hotel Layout & Facilities
The hotel consists of three buildings:
- Main Building: Houses the reception and hotel rooms.
- Second Building: This building contains apartments for short- and long-term stays.
- Front Building: Features a Tops daily mini-supermarket on the ground floor, a restaurant on the second floor (where breakfast is served), and an infinity pool and small gym on the rooftop.
The hotel follows a Japanese-style theme, reflected in its decor, bathrooms, and breakfast options. There is also a small “Relax Zone” garden between the main and rear buildings.

Rooms: Comfort & Functionality at an Affordable Price
The hotel doesn’t have an official website, but it’s listed on various booking platforms with high ratings and positive reviews.
I booked a Standard Queen Room on Booking.com for about 36€ (1,200 THB) per night. Here’s what was included:
✔ A spacious and clean room
✔ A kitchenette (microwave, sink, fridge, freezer, kettle)
✔ A small dining table
✔ An LCD TV (which I didn’t use)
✔ Free WiFi
✔ Two complimentary water bottles
✔ Bathrobes (kimono style) and slippers
✔ A safety box
✔ A modern Japanese-style toilet (Make sure to sit before pressing any buttons! 😉)
✔ A shower, hairdryer, and a full set of amenities (razor, toothbrushes, toothpaste, cotton buds, etc.)
✔ A very comfortable Queen-size bed
✔ A small balcony (some rooms have a sea view)
✔ An individual air conditioning unit
I had an excellent stay, and the room was perfect.

Breakfast: A Japanese-Style Delight
Depending on the booking platform, breakfast may or may not be included. However, at just 6€ (200 THB) per person, it’s an affordable and satisfying option.
The hotel serves a Japanese-style breakfast, so don’t expect a lot of pastries or sweet options. The buffet includes miso soup, sweet and regular omelets, noodles, fruits, toast, vegetables, and more. It was delicious and a great way to experience something different.
Swimming Pool & Gym: Small but Enjoyable
The rooftop infinity pool isn’t huge, but it’s perfect for relaxing. It stays open until 10:00 PM (22:00), making it a great spot to unwind in the evening.
The gym, located near the pool, is small but air-conditioned and offers a great sea view with a few training machines.
Things to Do Nearby
In the video at the end of this review, you’ll see the hotel from top to bottom, along with nearby attractions such as the shopping mall, Koh Loi, and a day trip to Koh Si Chang.
As mentioned earlier, Si Racha isn’t known for its beaches. You can cross the road to reach the sea, but I don’t recommend swimming or walking barefoot due to litter, broken glass, and plastic waste.
Instead, take a short walk to Koh Loi before sunset.
Koh Loi (400-500 meters, ~10-minute walk)
- The two piers (one for vehicles, one for pedestrians) are key transit points.
- Visit Wat Koh Loi temple at sunset for a stunning view.
- A large street food market opens before sunset, and eating there while enjoying music was a fantastic experience.
- Explore the skate park, a popular Chinese restaurant, and Loi Park with live music, Zumba sessions, and karaoke spots in the evening.
Day Trip to Koh Si Chang
- Head to Koh Loi Pier to buy a taxi boat ticket.
- The boat ride takes about 40 minutes.
- Once on the island, hire a Tuk-Tuk to explore:
- 300 THB (3 locations)
- 500 THB (5 locations) – Recommended for a full-day experience.
- 1,000 THB (extended tour)
- The Tuk-Tuk driver will take you to each location and wait while you explore.
Final Verdict: A Top-Choice Stay in Si Racha
For the price, SRIRACHA Sea Breeze Hotel is an excellent choice and truly deserves its 5-star reviews. The location is ideal, close to Central Si Racha Mall, Koh Loi, and the city center.
I highly recommend this hotel because of its comfortable rooms, friendly staff, free parking, and rooftop pool.
Would I stay here again? Absolutely!
