Germany, officially the Federal Republic of Germany, is a country in Central and Western Europe. It stretches from the North and Baltic Seas in the north to the Alps in the south, and shares borders with nine countries, including France, Switzerland, Austria and Poland.

With an area of around 357,600 km² (138,000 sq mi) and a population of more than 80 million people, Germany is the most populous country in the European Union. It is known for its rich history, beautiful landscapes, historic cities, castles, and vibrant cultural traditions.

Germany has so many interesting places to visit, from the historic towns and castles of Bavaria to the lively cities of Berlin, Munich and Hamburg.
